15Th ALL INDIA CONFERENCE OF MINISTERIAL STAFF ASSOCIATION, SURVEY OF INDIA (CHQ) HELD ON 16TH& 17TH NOVEMBER, 2022 AT SURVEY AUDITORIUM, HATHIBARKALA ESTATE, DEHRA DUN.

            The 15th All India Conference of Ministerial Staff Association, Survey of India held at Dehradun on 16th and 17th November, 2022. All the delegates from various stations assembled at 10.00 hours for procession from Community Hall to venue of the Meeting at Survey Auditorium with shouting of slogans. Chairman of the Reception Committee Com. Sanjeev Kumar Sharma & Com. Preeti Denial of host branch welcomed all delegates of the All India Conference. He welcomed Com B.D. Bhatt, President, Confederation of CGE&W, Uttarakhand, Shri U.N. Mishra, Deputy Surveyor General, SGO, Shri Nitin Joshi, Deputy Surveyor General, SGO, Shri Mohan Ram, Assistant Surveyor General, SGO, all the CHQ leaders of MSA, Office bearers of Sister Organizations/Unions and other invitees/guests and thereafter requested to take their seats on the Dias. Welcome speech was presented by the chairman of the reception committee. The Chief Guest of the function Mr. U.N. Mishra, Deputy Surveyor General, Shri Nitin Joshi, Deputy Surveyor General and Shri Mohan Ram, Assistant Surveyor General, were offered bouquets. While addressing gathering, the guests offered cooperation and support for the smooth conduct of the conference. They also indicated about the proposed reorganization of Department. Com.T.D. Banerjee, Member, Departmental Council (JCM) formally inaugurated the conference and in his speech, he narrated the latest position of the much awaited demands with Cadre Restructuring. Com. Venugopal Nair, President CHQ presided over the meeting and in his presidential address. He emphasized the importance of unity, which will broaden and strengthen our Association. It was followed by a Keynote address by Com. B.D. Bhatt, President of Confederation of CGE&W, Uttarakhand. In his detailed speech he narrated about the common problems of Central Government Employees as well as other working class. It was followed by short speech of leaders of Sister Organizations of Survey of India.

            After that the President of the Host Branch declared the closure of the inaugural/opening session with vote of thanks.

            The under-mentioned Delegates from various Branches of Ministerial Staff Association attended the All India Conference meeting.

            First half of the meeting was over at 13.30 hours which was followed by delicious lunch.

At 2.30 p.m. Secretary General, Com. DCR Karki welcomed all the Delegates from various parts of the country.

            Secretary General Com. DCR Karki handed over the presidium to Com. Shailesh for further proceedings/conduct the business of AIC.

            Organizing Secretary invited and welcomed all delegates of various Branches of MSA. The AIC proceedings inaugurated by lightening the lamps by Com. TD Banerjee, Com. Sujit Sinha, Com. Manoj Kumar, Com. DCR Karki, Com. Venegopal Nair & Com. Kamalakshan. K.

            Organizing Secretary welcomed all the executive committee members of hosting branch on stage and honored them. He also thanked the committee for arranging the AIC in such a grand manner.

            Two minutes silence was observed in remembrance of departed members of MSA.

            Secretary General Com. DCR Karki presented the Secretary General's report to the house and passed the sane unanimously.

            All the delegates introduced themselves. 17 Branches from different part of the country have attended the Conference. Branch Secretaries/Delegates of Bangalore, Chandigarh, Delhi, Dehradun, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jabalpur, Jaipur, Jammu, Kolkota, Patna, Pune, Ranchi, Raipur, Shillong and Trivandrum presented their working report of their branch.

            Audited balance sheet of the account of CHQ for the period from 1.4.2017 to 31.03.2022 presented by Com. H.S. Bisht, Secretary Finance. After discussion and clarification, the report has been passed unanimously.

            All COBs presented their reports and views to the house.
